The food was awesome 👌. Kari our waitress was the best. She suggested a few items and they were delicious 😋. We plan on going back soon.

Good atmosphere, good food. I love the open kitchen. Only bad thing were the cocktails and mixed drinks. Get wine or beer.

Always a great experience and phenomenal food and drinks. I normally go for the lemon drop martinis but decided to try the cucumber mint last night and oh my goodness, it was probably the best martini that I've ever had! Bailey was our waitress. She was new and it was her first night but she did a great job. Our food was delicious and perfectly cooked. My husband got the ribeye, asiago and pancetta potatoes and added the Rosemary grits. Steak was perfectly rare to medium-rare, potatoes were great as always and the grits were the best I've ever had. I had the lasagna and it was fantastic. Marinara had the perfect combination of robust flavor with just a tad hint of sweetness from the tomatoes, perfectly cheesy and the pasta tasted like it was handmade. Everything was just perfect, as always. Seriously the best restaurant in Lake Charles, hands down.

This is my favorite Happy Hour spot. 2 for 1 martinis and half price appetizers make for a great evening. The food is consistently high quality. The drinks are well crafted. The staff are friendly and attentive.

I have tried just about every dish on the menu...and loved every meal. The martinis are fabulous!! To satisfy your sweet tooth...they have the absolute BEST bread pudding!

Good Italian food good service

excellent experience and quality. Server was on point and my companion, who is a regular patron, recommended the pizza. i ordered it. it didn’t disappoint. it was good. over all i enjoyed myself. went during weekday lunch. so we couldn’t take our time. i would return. i recommend. i liked viewing the employees working in the open kitchen and seeing the brick ovens in operation.

The happy hour here is worth going to. The drinks are always spot on, and sometimes the food is hit or miss. I've been coming here for years and it's never been consistent. I will say, when they get it right, they really get it right. Pasta dishes are good, and so is their filet. My favorite thing to order is the flash fried oysters! The brown meuniere sauce is amazing.

What can I say. My favorite place in town. Flash fried oysters are amazing and they have happy hour! Smoked duck! Fillet with brown meuniere sauce. Lamb lolly's! Nice wine and an owner that always expects the best.

The food was good, ordered the steak. Word to the wise, don’t request or pay for the extra crab meat. It’s $9 extra for a half dollar sized little nugget of crab on top of your steak. Other than that waste of money it was a pretty decent place.

This place use to be a great place to eat. Little pricey but worth it because food was great. I ordered a burger and chose the cheddar cheese. Well when it came out the patty was not even warm and they had forgotten the cheese. Finally the waitress came and I told her that it needed to be remade since it was cold. Honestly they took my cold patty and put cheese on it and put it on a refrigerator temp bun since I had cut my 1st one. The patty was still cut in two so I know it was the same one and still very cold. I wish they would get it together because we use to really enjoy going there.

You can never go wrong visiting here. Everything is cooked fresh to include the bread. Monday through Friday Happy Hour 3:30pm to 5:30pm appetizers and drinks half off. Your waiter will let you.what is not apart of the special,even the water tastes good!

My first time dining at 121 Artisan Bistro and it was a wonderful evening of exceptional dining and the cocktails were superb! I will be returning.

Great food a little expensive! Definitely not an every weekend place if you are paying for a large family. The food an atmosphere are great for celebrating!

This is more of a fine dining experience so expect to pay more. But it’s worth it in my opinion. I had a small get together with some old friends here. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I had a seafood pasta that was loaded with seafood. My friend got a custom pizza. There were so many topping options, he had a hard time choosing what to get. It’s the perfect spot for a date or special occasion dinner.

Food is always delicious and beautifully presented. Nice variety offers something for everyone.

First road trip with my now husband, from Houston, so, from LA this restaurant is in our top 10 (so far)... Quality, fresh food. Good flavors and great cocktails.

Beautiful freshly crafted soups, sandwiches grilled or carved just for you. Exceptional customer service. They do not mind taking a moment for what I need.

Went there and won't go back. Not our night. Waitress was nice but didn't check with us. Appetizer sat there for almost five minutes before she walked it to our table. I know I timed it. Marinara was cold by the time we got it. When our dinner came out my wife's food was cold. Waitress never came and checked it. Actually had to walk it to get warned up. Check came and it was wrong as well. Epic fail across the board. Now I am 4 hours later and all I can taste is that marinara thinking I'm going to vomit.

Great food, service and Cocktails

The fettucine alfredo with mushrooms were very good, so was the cocktail, the wine, the bread, the salad! :) Our waitress was very friendly and chatty. She was recommending a lot of places for our trip in NOLA.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The staff and the food is top notch!

This is the place that I compare other private restaurants against. I love the food here. You can expect divine appetizers and food here, and although I rarely drink alcohol, I understand their wine list and cocktails to be great, too. The Lamb Lollipos are so delicious and the Balsamic on the Caprese Salad makes it, hands down, my favorite caprese dish of all time. Their meatloaf is not your mama's Tuesday night regular and worthy of a grander name than they've assigned it on the menu. The lodge feel and open-view kitchen make the atmosphere special, but not fussy and the menu prices are in alignment with the quality of the food. I take every opportunity I can to dine here and recommend it highly to anyone looking for a better quality place to dine.

Delicious! Our amazing server, Andria, was knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions. This is the first place I’ve been to that offers spaghetti squash as a substitute for pasta. And this dessert is FLOURLESS chocolate cake..yummmm!!

The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is rather nice and the service is great. It's one of the greatest restaurants this side of Louisiana.

121 Artisan Bistro Yum great food .. Flash Fried Oysters were superb .. The Shrimp and Corn Bisque was delightful ... The Key Lime Martini was off the chain, I had 2 by the way 😊 I gave 4 stars because they could have been a little more accomadating for our party of 15. Overall great food!!

The best meat loaf in town!

Celebrated our anniversary at the Bistro 8-17-19. Had eaten there 5 or 6 times before. Always liked the food. This time we had their standard frozen margaritas at the bar while waiting 20 minutes for our table. They were the worst margaritas we ever tasted and they cost $12 each (made with cheap bar tequila). Our herb crusted salmon tasted good but was tough around the edges. Our chicken scaloppini also tasted good but was tough (as if it had been previously cooked and then re-heated). For a bill of $77 (without tip) we expected better.
